We are announcing the deprecation of the SecApps Online Security testing suite. The suite will no longer be developed or maintained.
The decision to deprecated the suite was not an easy one. Over the years, the suite has been a valuable tool for security researchers and practitioners alike. However, due to the imminent transitions to Manifest V3 by all browser vendors and the resulting impact on the suite, we have decided to focus our efforts on other products. The V3 extension manifest is not backward-compatible, and developing the suite to work with it would require a significant amount of effort.
We want to thank everyone who has used the suite over the years. We hope that our other products will be able to fill the void left by the deprecation of the SecApps Online Security testing suite. In particular, we now recommend to use SecApps Scout, SecApps Devcore and SecApps Lookout for your testing and discovery needs. We are also now actively looking to bring back Webreaver, our desktop web application security testing tool.
